Biography

Dr. Jennifer Specht holds the Jill D. Bennett Endowed Professorship in Breast Oncology and is an Associate Professor in the Division of Medical Oncology at the University of Washington (UW), an Associate Member of the Clinical Research Division at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and Clinical Research Director of Breast Oncology at UW/Fred Hutch Cancer Center. Her research interests include molecular imaging, immunotherapy, and novel therapeutics for breast cancer. She has designed, conducted and lead multiple clinical trials in breast cancer, leads as UW site primary investigator for the Translational Breast Cancer Research Consortium, serves as member of NCI ComboMATCH Agents and Genes Committee. She is Chair of ECOG-ACRIN EA1183/FEATURE trial which is evaluating performance of serial FDG PET/CT to predict progression free survival in patients with breast cancer bone metastasis (NCT04316117). Dr. Specht collaborates with investigators at Fred Hutch to optimize immunotherapeutic approaches for treatment of breast cancer with chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapies.
